Ontario Semiconductor initiatives

Semiconductors are critical to the future of the global economy, playing a pivotal role across diverse industries such as aerospace, advanced manufacturing, military, biotechnology, healthcare, automotive and telecommunications. They are also fundamental to the operation of Artificial Intelligence.

In collaboration with industry leaders and stakeholders, the Trade Programs Branch is set to launch semiconductor-focused trade missions to Asia, Europe, Latin America and the United States. Our aim is to strengthen Ontario’s semiconductor capabilities and integrate them into a cohesive global supply chain.
